THE NEW VIDEO – ‘Take me away’
Hello all. The countdown has now begun to the release of the new Pugs single and album, ‘Take me away’ and Eleven modern antiquities. The album has the now ‘set in stone’ release date of March 21st so keep your eye out for some ‘special offers’ and early chances to obtain the record on our label site 1969 Records and our web-site
What we’d like to alert you all to now though is the first single to be released from the album which is ‘Take me away’ b/w ‘Anyone who asks’. The single has just come back from the pressing plant and looks FAB!! The release date is Friday the 22nd of February which is now less than 2 weeks away. We will be issuing the single for retail sale in Ireland (though in a strictly limited form) in Road Records and Tower Records and of course on-line at our 1969 Records shop, but it’s the ‘Download’ form that we’d like to ask all of you to help us with.
ULTRA RARE 4-TRACK ALBUM SAMPLER…..
The single will be available to buy through i-tunes and the link to the page will be posted very shortly. This version of ‘Take me away’ is exclusive to i-tunes as it’s not the ‘final’ mix of the track but an earlier ‘Bunker’ mix. There’s not a huge difference to be honest but technically it is DIFFERENT!! So we’d love you all to try your best to purchase the track the week of it’s release so as to give ourselves the best possible oppurtunity to chart, so please try and let everyone you know…..ehm…..KNOW ABOUT IT!!
We’ll update this news as soon as possible with all the info you’ll need to help us get off to a great start with what we know is The Pugs best album of their career!!
