And welcome to a mini ‘pug’ egg update of flavour-filled news all served in a hard-coated shell of oblong popiness with a soft chewy centre of…..oh bloody hell that’s enough.
Anyway just a quick hello to fill you in on the very latest in The Pugs quest for global domination. We’re all chomping at the bit here (overlooking Pug-lake) in anticipation of the band’s debut release in the U.K and the world on the wonderful APE label.
As you’ll already know, the first release will be a uniquely compiled (by Andy Partridge) and re-mastered (by John Dent) from the original multi-tracks, career spanning compilation now entitled Giddy – a ride inside the wonderful world of Pugwash

The track-listing has also been finalised and is as follows :

2. It’s nice to be nice.
3. Song for you.
4. Anyone who asks.
5. Cluster bomb.
6. Sunrise sunset.
7. The season of flowers and leaves.
8. Monorail.
9. My genius.
10. Finer things in life.
11. Black dog.
12. Two wrongs.
13. Anchor.
The promo will be strictly limited and will have artwork unique to that pressing. The artwork has been beautifully realised by Andrew Swainson working from the fervoured mind of Mr. Partridge!! Everyone’s chuffed at the results and this bodes well for even greater things with the actual release which we’ll have a release date for VERY shortly…..you’ll all be the first to know so keep checking in. We will also do our very best to snafu some extra copies of the promo (which will be full length) and run a competition here to give them away so as we’ve said keep your egg-shell likes to the modem (Oh no we’re back to chocolate!!)

And finally…..you may want to keep an eye and an ear out for the two bounders below over the coming months. They go by the moniker of The Duckworth Lewis Method and that’s all we know?? Well we know one other thing…..Duckworth is standing and Lewis is sitting!!

Thanks for the reply Thomas. One other question which may have been answered before is – where can I purchase your incredible version of “on with the show”. You’re the only person I’ve heard that can actually sound more like Jeff Lynne than Jeff Lynne himself!
WOW!! That’s very very kind of you Warren (blush, blush). The version of ‘On with the show’ on YouTube is not even the finished mix/master (Which not a lot of people know) so the released finished mix is even more in keeping with the wonderful song it is as I nailed the phasing even better on the finished version so you will really enjoy getting the ‘real’ version.
