End of summery autumnal salutations to one and all..or in other words…..hello!
After a wonderful innings at the crease of cricket-pop with the phantasmagorical ‘D.L.M’, Thomas has put away his pads for another type of ‘pad’.....the writing kind!! (See what we did there? Very witty indeed)
Writing is well under way for the 5th ‘Pugwash’ album which will hopefully see a release date of Spring/Summer 2011. We can exclusively reveal some of the new track titles here. They include ‘August born’, ‘Fall down’, ‘I don’t know what it is’, ‘I really miss my friend’ and ‘Dear Belinda’. The latter track having been written especially for the wonderful stage/screen and comic actress Belinda Stewart-Wilson’s 40th birthday. Belinda has become a real friend of the band and has demanded she gets to sing on the final recorded version.

Thomas has also been recruited by the venerable tome HOT PRESS to be their ‘Rock Reporter’ for one hour a day between 6 and 7 pm on the soon to be relaunched “RADIO NOVA”..!! Yes…..IT’S BACK (for all our Irish fans). Launching on September 1st, the station will blast from the Dublin airwaves at 100.3 FM so give it a listen and see if the new look RADIO NOVA is for you?
We here at Pug-Palisades are very aware of the power of FACEBOOK at present. It’s not as evil as most would assume and again, as with MySpace in it’s heyday, it is serving as a huge starting point for fans of the band plus Thomas himself AND The Duckworth Lewis Method.
